Sundance

This is a photo I took in Park City just as we were leaving for the airport. Sadly, I accidently deleted ALL the photos I took while at Sundance this year, all 150 of them. I must say, I felt like I deleted a part of my brain. CJ is going to make me a cd of all the photos she took while there, which will be a real treat. Well, I wish I could show you guys a photo that has something more to do with what I went up to Sundance for, the premiere of Brick, but I will leave that to CJ. What I am most sorry to lose are the photos I took leading up to the screening, like the ones I took of friends in and out of various cafes and bars, especially the window shots with backward writing and reflections of Park City. All that aside, though, I had a great time. Seeing Brick projected on film, afterall, was really BITCHIN!

Hi Tara,
I once took photos for a friend's band. They were playing in an courtyard, on an elevated platform in the middle of a pond, dry ice haze going the whole time. When I developed the film, is was absolutely unexposed. I forgot that the camera required actually cocking the shutter for each shot, just advancing the film didn't cock the shutter. I felt like a real dodo, and there would have been some great shots there. Oh well...I won't do that again.
